During this week, startups participated in several seminars aimed at improving participants' market readiness as well as their strategic capabilities. The main topics of the seminars included market opportunities, communication strategies, marketing techniques and presentation skills. The aim of the workshops was to provide start-ups with the necessary tools and skills to expand their business and significantly improve urban mobility.
New technologies such as 5G, V2X, IoT and artificial intelligence will revolutionize urban mobility. It is predicted that by 2027 the market value of artificial intelligence in this sector will exceed 10 billion euros. That's why EIT Urban Mobility's Accelerate2MOVE program selects startups with innovative technology ideas for 6 months of support. Together with a strong pan-European consortium led by REGEA (Croatia) and including LMT (Latvia), Poslovna Inteligencija (Croatia), VEFRESH (Latvia), Ljubljana University Incubator (Slovenia) and Nikola Tesla Innovation Center (Croatia), startups get a great the opportunity to access knowledge and contacts that allow them to be at the forefront of sustainable urban transport innovation.
Rauls Feliu, Head of EIT Urban Mobility Startup Programs
In the Accelerate2Move project, startups develop innovative solutions that solve real European and even global mobility problems. This year's training was a great opportunity to meet all the teams and learn about their strengths and needs. We now have five more months to implement real strategies that will help these startups grow.
